An innovative agricultural company based in France in the Ardennes, Bionalan develops machines dedicated to mechanical weeding and sustainable agriculture.

Alain Bon, an agricultural entrepreneur, invents the chaff collector to meet a need encountered on his own farm.
Very quickly, neighboring farmers show interest in this tool. Faced with growing demand, Alain Bon decides to create the company Bionalan to continue manufacturing and developing these agricultural machines.

Bionalan reaches a new milestone by investing in a 2,700 m² production facility in Blagny, in the Ardennes region of France.
This new industrial tool allows the company to develop new projects and design different agricultural machines that will later form the Bionalan product range.

After several years of research and development, Bionalan launches the SELAC topping machine.
This machine quickly becomes one of the most widely used topping machines in France, confirming the company’s expertise in the field of mechanical weed control.

Bionalan continues its growth by improving its facilities and structuring its production.
Sales increase steadily and the first employees are recruited to support the company’s expansion.

A distribution agreement is signed with SCAR, enabling Bionalan machines to be distributed throughout France.

Bionalan expands its product range with the Biola cover crop roller, designed for managing cover crops.
This innovation leads to the development of new equipment ranges dedicated to vineyards and mechanical weed control.

The first Bionalan topping machine crosses the Atlantic to reach Canada.
This expansion is made possible through agreements with Équipements Lambert in Quebec and Lud’Agri in France.

An import agreement is signed with Heerema Agri Service for the distribution of Bionalan machines in the Benelux region.

Bionalan launches the Tig’air, a weed puller designed for use in low crops. Its mechanical gripping and pulling system allows weeds to be extracted with their roots, reducing regrowth.
This innovation reflects Bionalan’s commitment to developing efficient mechanical weeding solutions adapted to modern agricultural practices.
By 2026, the Tig’air is distributed throughout Europe and as far as North America, demonstrating the growing interest of farmers in these technologies.
Since the beginning of the adventure, farmers’ trust has been at the heart of Bionalan’s development.
The entire team would like to thank the farmers who use our machines and contribute every day to making this project grow.
